These skips were removed in time for this area to be used as an extra carpark for Games Day.
 

This was in response to the ‘parking on the Links’ fiasco.

The August edition of the Buzz reported that the area would be turned into a carpark “at the end of the summer”.

The skips have been returned as there were concerns about them in the new location near the Red Pond, so another place will have to be found for them if this area is to be used a carpark.

It may be the case that a comprehensive review of current parking availability and demand in Burntisland will be undertaken as part of the move to create more spaces by the Station.
