Fife Police Re-Launch Proxy Purchasing Initiative in Burntisland

“Criminal activity associated with underage drinking, such as antisocial behaviour, disorder and violence are regularly raised as concerns by members of the community.

This campaign, which will be launched in both Kinghorn and Burntisland on Friday 7th June, aims to educate the public of the risks for those who consume alcohol under 18 and the consequences for adults who buy and supply them with it. Anyone found responsible for proxy purchasing will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal and will face a fine or a three-month prison sentence.”
