The chestnut pale fencing is in place around the area for the world’s second oldest Highland Games.
Games (or Market) Day is undoubtedly the annual day when the greatest number of people descend on the town.
Fewer than times in the past when bus loads of people from Fife and Lothian mining villages (and many other places) arrived for a fun day out.
There’s a full set of shows on site, with more stalls expected on the day.
