Burntisland: Scottish Gas Roadworks on Aberdour Road from Monday – for 7 Weeks

“We understand that people can get frustrated by roadworks. However, the new plastic pipe has a minimum lifespan of 80 years. This means that when the work is complete, people will continue to enjoy the benefits of a safe and reliable gas supply for years to come.”

Burntisland Community Award for 2019 Winner is …

Every year, Burntisland Community Council makes an award to someone whose service to the community has been outstanding. There are no restrictions on the type of service which can be recognised – all that matters is that the winner of the award is an example to others.”

After its December meeting, the CC members met in private to go through the list of people nominated by the community.

The various possibilities were discussed and finally the winner was agreed to be Willi Henderson.

Seen here between Carole-Anne Paterson Member Pioneer at the Co-op and Ian Archibald of the Heritage Trust, Willi is well known for her welcoming presence at the Trust’s annual exhibitions and her individual dress style.
